Inspiration

This inspiration was actually spawned by the popular Labubu & Nano Banana. I wanted to see if I could create a line of characters that all shared a similar style and tone, but still had enough characteristics to be their own character and stand uniquely apart. I created the Shadows, creatures of all types that watch in the shadows, their memories of what they see in the shadows becomes history in time. The Shrouds are the evil forces within the Shadows that have malevolent and selfish intent to take control and power over the world as we know it.

What it does

A fun for all ages, dark fantasy trailer for a AI series where shadows awaken, ancient spirits stir, and a girl and her unlikely companions face a storm of living darkness. Inspired by the haunting worlds of dark fantasy and reflection, this AI-driven tale blends surreal visuals, cinematic storytelling with a music-driven atmosphere into a world you haven't seen.

How we built it

I built using AI tools that I subscribe to. My 'Bayou Vampire' voice over was used creating ElevenLabs, music through Suno. My imagery is created in OpenArt AI, this series heavily uses Nano Banana in building multi-figural scenes - which was another inspiration. Kling and Runway both served as animation engines. I then composed my script and story through the help and assistance of ChatGPT, but in the cutting room floor I make the edit and tell the story in the video you watch.

Challenges we ran into

Multi-figural scenes are not child's play, this was very challenging obtaining outputs that are good enough to use in a final edit.
