The Shape

Inspiration

What it does

You play by tapping the screen to rotate the polygon to the matching color of the ball. If you don't match the color before the ball bounces, it's game over. Can you get to 100? Sounds easy, right? Good luck!

How I built it

The Shape was built using a program called XCode which the main program to use for making IOS application. I built this app using the objective-c as swift was just released and I got much help online to make this application

Challenges I ran into

As the application got released within a few weeks it got much attention and I was very pleased with it as my first app didn't get much downloads and attention, then the application had some few bugs which I had to update the app as soon as possible. A month or a few weeks later I got many feedback and suggestions which are to make the shape rotate both ways, not only one way, this was a bit of a challenge as I am not confident and don't have much knowledge to create the app but I eventually did it and many people like it.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

The application got many downloads at that time and was the most downloaded application between my other application and I'm am very proud of what I did

What I learned

I learned that making an app is not simple and getting downloads and attention needs patience.

What's next for The Shape

I hope that I'll be able to create other shapes and modes inside the game as this will make users satisfied and hopefully get more downloads
