Inspiration

• it's always a problem for us to think about what to eat everyday as we all started cooking this year

What it does

you can input the ingredients you have at hand and it will give you a recipe using those ingredients

How we built it

we used swift uikit to build the mobile app

Challenges we ran into

• creating a dictionary
• connecting backend to frontend
• connecting a database into swift

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• successfully connecting backend to frontend :)

What we learned

• how to clean up a database

What's next for The Secret Kitchen

• allowing users to put only some of the ingredients and still outputting a recipe
• loading a large database instead of having a tiny hard coded dictionary
