Inspiration

One of our teammates suffered from an online scam and we wanted to find a solution to this problem.

What it does

Safedot is an online tool that detects how probable it is for anything the user inputs to be a scam or fraud.

How we built it

We built it using AI and cybersecurity APIs for our backend and Next.js for our front end.

Challenges we ran into

1.- Learn how to implement and create Chrome extensions. 2.- Learn how to use Open AI API for our web app. 3.- Create a friendly UX/UI.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

During this Hackathon, we organized our team efficiently to distribute the workload appropriately. All four of us learned new skills to implement during this event.

What's next for Safedot

What we would like to do with our project is to improve the product and find a way to make it public. As well we would like to build a business model around this idea.
