We were inspired by amount of factors needed in making sure everyone is vaccinated, as well as the fact that any new variants of the vaccine would have to be distributed all over again to everybody.
We weren't able to finish it, but the idea is that you're able to enter information about your vaccination into a database; the database could also keep track of any new vaccines, let you know if you needed to get it, and let you know vaccination locations if you haven't been vaccinated yet. We were only able to make the data entry portion.
First, we made a relational schema that we could insert into mySQL to make a database. Then, we wrote the data entry portion using JSP on Eclipse.
SQL syntax is fussy on a good day, and we had to spend an hour just troubleshooting the structure of the project itself in Eclipse.
We're proud that we were able to make the data entry portion.
We learned that 24 hours is not a lot of time.
We'll definitely keep working on it and make it an actual website or app.
