Inspiration
Brands and social media in recent years contribute to the rise of 'designer' brands, of which some do not posess 'designer' quality or appearance, and same goes for everyday items like food. This seeks to get people thinking about how much they are paying for some of these items while having fun with others.
What it does
Multiple players can join and guess the price of an item they all are shown, closest to the actual price gets point.
How we built it
Figma for UI wireframe, Node for multiplayer functionality, CSS, HTML and JS
Challenges we ran into
Originally didn't have multiplayer functionality, used Node to create lobby style page Also with only two members, we couldn't be too ambitious with our technologies and concept
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Multiplayer functionality
What we learned
We need to learn how to utilise react.js, given it was rather difficult without it and could have been very useful.
What's next for the price is HYPE
More items, more game modes!
