Inspiration

We liked the challenge and the clarity that EOG provided through its track. Our mindset aligned with EOG by safety, accountability, and operational efficiency.

What it does

  • Real-Time Potion Flow Monitoring: Tracks potion volumes by the minute to ensure a keep response in case of mismatch between the clients and the company.

How we built it

Frontend:

  • Streamlib: To display graph and results. Backend:
  • Python Libraries (Request, Pandas): Fetch EOG's API Data Analytics:
  • Python: Process API results and provide to website

Challenges we ran into

We had trouble deciding our tech stack since we were new to hackathons and building projects from scratch. Tech-wise, we also struggled with calculating the accurate api data. We also had trouble connecting everyone's code contributions together.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We made an interactive dashboard to help the company aka the cauldrons keeping track of the resources.

What we learned

We learned how to bridge our knowledge from concepts we learned in school to real world applications.

What's next for The Potion Police

We hope to implement Optimized Courier Routes & Forecasting along with a conversion to a native web application.
