Inspiration
My inspiration comes from the Jam theme, I think an Escape Room is the best experience to experiment with mixed reality capabilities. Also, I always wanted to design a space game where the player has supernatural powers, so the ability to take possession of things is perfect for a puzzle game.
What it does
The game uses the PICO Sense Pack SDK to give every player a custom experience using the capabilities provided.
How we built it
Now, it is still a design prototype.
Challenges we ran into
Think which use could fit in a game, so making an idea rain helped me a lot to choose the better option.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
This is my first GDD finish, also this is my first Jam to participate, so I am proud of my work designing a prototype for a VR Game.
What we learned
I have learned about how to write a GDD and the PICO SDK capabilities. This also makes me think about getting a headset to develop my prototype.
What's next for The Possession: Escape Room
The next step is definitely to develop a prototype and get a functional demo which help me to improve it. By the time, I want to make it a full game.
