Inspiration

The Ozawa Method was inspired by a simple question:

What if learners could communicate before achieving perfection?

After many years in Japanese language education, I found that beginners often hesitate because they believe they must first master grammar. Generative AI makes a different approach possible.

What it does

The Ozawa Method introduces an AI-assisted learning framework based on four original concepts:

• Philosophy
• Approximation Theory
• Convergence Theory
• Essence Theory

Learners first express themselves using an approximation. AI analyzes the expression, provides feedback, and supports continuous improvement.

Communication comes before perfection.

How we built it

The prototype combines educational theory, AI-assisted feedback, a Japanese language learning scenario, Project Book documentation, and a demonstration video.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was transforming an educational philosophy into a practical AI learning workflow while keeping the experience simple for beginners.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We developed an original educational framework for the generative AI era and demonstrated it with a working prototype.
