Inspiration

81% of Americans say that America is more divided than united, with 96% saying that the country has maintained or increased in divisiveness in the last 10 years. (Ipsos Survey 2024) Though political polarization has significantly increased, the discussion of the issue is very minimal. (Kubin, E., & von Sikorski, C. (2021))

With so much divisiveness in social media, we wanted to platform all opinions while recognizing the differences and similarities in our perspectives. Other sites like Reddit organize by upvotes, but we wanted users to see if there was a correlation between posts that were upvoted and perceived bias from our program.

What it does

Our Solution: Recognizing and embracing our differences.

An easy-to-use social web app that assists in broadening perspectives and promoting understanding by categorizing and organizing user opinions across a wide range of topics.
