Inspiration
I was helping another friend on a project and I didnt quite understand what he was doing so to pass the time I started looking at the free stuff I recieved this morning. On the card I noticed it had a website and that the google doc about Hackmizzou said that they had seperate prizes. So I decided to use my limited coding experience to create a simple program.
What it does
The program has 4 main functions. It has an interactive education course, a test to see how well you remember it, a report incident function to help create a safer environment, and an admin login function to see the test results and names, and also the incident reports and names.
How I built it
I used basic C that I learned in 1050.
Challenges I ran into
I am still very new to pointers so creating multiple arrays of arrays was a big challenge for me.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Getting the fgets() to accept the entire input of the users report.
What I learned
I learned that there is still a lot that I dont understand about coding and that I can stay up for 30 hours straight and still function decently.
What's next for The Online Harassment Awareness Center
Hopefully a better interface rather than the boring black and white of C and being able to see more than one report or test at a time.
