The Online Dressing Room

Inspiration and What it does

Due to COVID-19’s risks with one's well being, it was a challenge go to the store as well as to find clothes that match together and with one’s skin color through online shopping. As a solution, this project lets those that can not go to the store during the pandemic to get appropriate clothes for themselves.

Challenges I ran into

Throughout the project, there were many minor challenges that I faced to create the best possible experience for the user and to respond to realistic, real-world needs like skin color and price. However, the major challenge that I faced was to make the code efficient in every way.

What I learned

As a coder, I need to code, develop, and test programs for software and mobile apps. Through this process, there are many areas for me to focus on, so that the user get the best possible experience with my computer application. The Online Dressing Room project allowed me to really acknowledge this, to understand how to code real-world applications better, and to hone my all of my coding knowledge.

What's next for The Online Dressing Room

1) Include accessories. 2) Make the drawing of the body to match the user’s physique. 3) Make the drawing of the body 3D. 4) Allow the user to delete their previous choices. 5) Create a receipt at the end to show the price of each clothe and the total price.
