Inspiration

My inspiration for this project came from my father, Dan, (I am being represented by my father), and my already existing fictional country, the Grand Empire of Zekeytopia. I first started using Bolt.new a few weeks ago and I am astounded by what it can make. Since I set Zekeytopia up earlier this year, I have really wanted to create a website/webapp for my country to make it more digitally accessible for my 29 existing citizens and for ease of spreading popularity, so it can be seen by the public.

What it does

The Official Webapp of the Grand Empire of Zekeytopia has many many functions, however the main ones include: a calendar for citizens to see milestones for themselves as Zekeytopians but also for the country (see the What's next section for more details); a working AI assistant specially trained for the needs and enquiries of Zekeytopians and the public; and a login page where you can create an account (and apply for your citizenship digitally - you will receive the main documents physically) or login to your already existing account (the perks include personalised milestones in the calendar section and more).

How we built it

I built my site using solely Bolt.new (my prompt, idea or story (this) was NOT enhanced by ChatGPT, Copilot etc.) and my brain!

Challenges we ran into

I ran into many challenges including the deadline (!) and when trying out my prompts, sometimes Bolt told me my prompt (with all of the files attached - I gave Bolt the real 4 A4 page laws and Terms and Conditions that I wrote at length before I started this project - again NOT AI) was too large!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This is my first Hackathon and I am very proud of me even entering in the first place! I want nothing but the best for Zekeytopia and my ideas so that is mostly why I wanted to participate in a Hackathon but best of all a Bolt/Devpost/other partners Hackathon!

What we learned

I have learnt to leave more time for entering Hackathons and try out my prompts as I write new ones as oppose to writing one huge prompt and editing it etc. and then trying it to see the outcome and then improving it further.

What's next for The Official Webapp of the Grand Empire of Zekeytopia

In the future, I will make more updates for my Webapp including putting events into the calendar (exhibitions, concerts, one-on-one discussion time with the Emperor (me) etc.) that all Zekeytopians can attend for free (for the public, it is paid) so that Zekeytopians can see when they are happening. The updates will also include more of my ideas, design updates, additions and more that are free to download from the web (to download, head to the Settings section of the webapp which will tell you if there are any updates).
