Inspiration

Moss Veil draws inspiration from leisurely walks through nature, the atmospheric world of "Hollow Knight," and cozy 2D gaming experiences. It aims to provide players with a relaxing journey while prompting reflection on mental health.

What it does

In Moss Veil, players control a rock exploring different realms. They navigate, dodge, dash, and can transform into a rock. Boss encounters represent real-life mental health challenges, fostering engagement and awareness.

How we built it

Moss Veil was built using Unity, with C# scripts and pixel art.

Challenges we ran into

Challenges included inexperience, crashes, file sharing issues, demotivation, and fatigue.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We successfully implemented core mechanics and executed parts of the game as planned.

What we learned

We learned C#, Aesprite/Pixilart, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving.

What's next for The Moss Veil

Future plans include a boss battle, a proper story, and overall polish.
