Inspiration

What it does
Out idea revolved around the idea of positive reinforcement and gamification. The issue at hand is of utmost importance, but this doesn't mean we can't approach the solution in a relaxed manner.

How we built it
We built it with the Flutter framework from google with a backend in Firebase. It was quite tricky because we both haven't worked with this tech stack before.
Challenges we ran into
- Having to balance university work with the project.
- Keeping the eyes open after 10 hours of programming at 5AM
- Not giving in to the urge of playing a game of dota
- Learning a new tech stack and developing a functioning prototype (which we just kinda managed) ## Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Coming up with an idea and design we are both proud of.
- Learning the basics of Flutter and Firebase
- Challenging ourselves for a good cause
How to use it
- There is no functioning backend yet, so everything is hardcoded
- Have Flutter installed, download the repository and flutter run --no-sound-null-safety
- Scroll on the landing page
- Click on the up left corner to see the list with views
- On TaskPage, you can go back to the basepage when clicking the bottom button
What's next for The Millenials Guide to climate collapse
We have a lot of features in mind for this application and we hope to actually develop it further and actually have a fully functioning app. We all have to do our share in combating climate change and we would like to do ours this way.
