What Inspired Me

I was inspired to create this project by my passion for bridging the gap between education and technology. Having observed how many students struggle to access quality mentorship, I wanted to build a platform that could connect them with experienced mentors from various fields.

What I Learned

Throughout this project, I learned a lot about the intricacies of HTML and CSS. I improved my understanding of semantic HTML, ensuring that the structure of my website was both meaningful and accessible. I also delved deep into CSS, experimenting with different layouts, animations, and responsive design techniques. I learned how to create a cohesive design system, manage styles efficiently using classes and IDs, and implement modern CSS features like Flexbox

How I Built My Project

I started by sketching out the design and layout on paper, which helped me plan the structure of the website. Once I had a clear vision, I began coding the structure of the website using HTML.

Challenges I Faced

One of the challenges I faced was getting the layout to work perfectly across different devices. Ensuring that the website was fully responsive required a lot of testing and tweaking, especially when working with complex layouts. I had to experiment with different CSS properties and media queries to ensure that the design looked good on both small and large screens. Another challenge was achieving a consistent and polished look. It was important to make sure that all the elements on the page were aligned properly and that the spacing and typography were consistent throughout. This required careful attention to detail and a lot of iteration, but it was worth it to achieve a professional-looking design.
