What it does- An animation of a lone soldier in a desolate, wintery landscape. Revolves around themes of mental and physical duress.
How we built it- Used Blender and Autodesk Sketchbook to plan and build the project.
Challenges we ran into- Importing objects (that we made from our computers during the hackathon) was slightly problematic and caused a few issues. There were a few optimization issues also.
Accomplishments that we're proud of - lighting, shadowing, compositing, team management
What we learned - team coordination, how to integrate 2-d into a 3-d space
What's next for The Medic - maybe develop this and use his in a video game. We could also use this blender model to spread awareness over mental health problems especially during the Ukraine Crisis, where families lose their loved ones during the battle.
