MediBites aims to bridge these gaps using AI-driven solutions that offer personalized disease predictions, seamless appointment scheduling, and secure teleconsultations. By integrating blockchain, AI, and multilingual support, MediBites ensures inclusive and efficient healthcare for all.

What it does

MediBites provides an all-in-one healthcare platform that offers:

AI-powered Disease Prediction: Patients receive early health insights using AI models.

AI Booking Assistant: Schedule doctor appointments through a conversational AI chatbot.

Teleconsultations: Connect with doctors via secure video calls.

Electronic Health Records (EHR): Blockchain-secured health data ensures privacy and transparency.

Multilingual Support: Accessible in multiple languages.

AI-Powered Food Ordering: Personalized dietary suggestions for better health.

Medical NFTs and Decentralized Insurance: Data security and transparent insurance claims using blockchain.

How we built it

Frontend: Developed using Next.js for a responsive user interface.

Backend: AI chatbot and disease prediction are powered by Flask and Mistral AI.

Database: User data is stored in Firebase and medical images in Supabase.

Video Consultations: Implemented using Stream API.

Voice AI: Integrated Eleven Labs for multilingual voice interactions.

Personalized Health Insights: Powered by Pinecone for vector search.

Blockchain: Ensured data security using medical NFTs and decentralized insurance claims.

Deployment: Vercel for frontend and AWS for backend.

Third-party Integrations: Twilio for notifications and Google Maps API for hospital location services.
