Inspiration
I have been using flutter for a year and a half now. The first thing that I discovered immediately when I started using flutter was Rive. When the hackathon was announced I knew this would be a perfect project to use rive animations. My original idea was a picture slide puzzle that interacted with different animations, but as I went on I faced some challenges, and new ideas came up and that's how I ended up with The Mαth∫etΣs and, not The Three Deserteers.
What it does
The game is built only for the web. The game is played by moving tiles around to create an order that when calculated will return a value that is similar to a value x. There are three characters to choose from. Each character has a unique theme and they have unique abilities that frustrate players and some are helpful to players.
How we built it
The app was built completely using flutter and incorporation of rive animations
Challenges we ran into
My biggest challenge was coming up with an idea that would really compliment animations. I rethought my idea so many times and if it were not for the additional time I would probably not have completed the app.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are very proud of completing the app and actually enjoying it ourselves to the point we are addicted at our own game.
What we learned
Though we had interacted with rive before we were not that good at animating but with this project that has greatly improved.
What's next for The Mαth∫etΣs
We wish to take the app to different platforms which will be super easy with the power of flutter. We wish to make the game more competitive for users
