We were inspired to develop this game because we all have interests in combining 3D modeling with programming logic. We also believed there was a lot of room for growth beyond our original minimum viable product, so we would never get bored with a game like this. Random maze generation is a huge focal point in computer science, so we thought it might be interesting to explore it ourselves and experiment with the different algorithms for implementing one We also wanted to learn a new programming language, and we figured C# was similar enough to C++ that we could pick it up in 24 hours.
