Inspiration
What it does
The Journey is a website that generates content as the user scrolls, serving as a tedious and frustrating obstacle for the user to overcome. Along the way, texts pop up occasionally to initially encourage the player, but eventually turning into words of discouragement the further one gets into the journey. There are also temptations and distractions along the way that filters out those that are not focused on their goals. Should the player reach the end, he will be rewarded with a gratifying reward.
How I built it
The Journey is built with ReactJS, and the animations are mostly done with CSS.
Challenges I ran into
We had difficulty creating a responsive web design.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We are proud to have not just finished the project on time but also had plenty of time to polish it, including making it work well on mobile.
