Inspiration

We wanted to create an interactive experience for people who wants to learn more about the migration journey of animals.

What it does

Our project consists of 2 games. In the first one, the player needs to use arrow keys to navigate the correct destination direction for the animals migration. In the second game, player controls the animal figure to go through a flappy-bird like game which imitates the challenges on the migration path.

Through out the game, we provide fun facts, introductions, and YouTube link for each animals so the user would learn about the animal in the process of the game and have a deeper understanding of the cycle of life.

How we built it

We used Pygame and python to build the game

What's next for The Migration Challenge

Right now we have migration journey for birds and sea animals. In the future we can also include land animals and adding more unique games to represent the challenges on the migration journey.
