Inspiration
After the data visualization workshop, I learned that data could be visualized and be more digestible to humans. That's why I decided on attempting to tell a story using data provided by The Hope Center's Survey Report on general insecurities that students face. As I was reading the report, I realized that the written conclusions were often referring to the table with the raw data.
How we built it
This project was built using google colab, python, and plotly. I also used data from Hope Center's Survey Report as mentioned above.
Challenges we ran into
I couldn't install one of the libraries at first, so it took a while to try debugging.
What we learned
I learned the importance of data visualization and the impact it can have when one analyses it.
What's next
I hope to be able to build upon this project by including a more thorough dataset and also using scipy in the future to future investigate the food insecurity for students.
