Inspiration

There are a set of people with ideas that can be turned into amazing solutions but they are not always financially strong to invest in those and thereby their innovative ideas go to waste. Whereas there are other sets of people who are financially strong and willing to invest in promising innovations so that they can get benefited out of them. This gap has always been there even in the normal world and this gap has grown much more in this new-normal COVID world. And as a result Technology ecosystem development has diminished from its normal pace.

What it does

This application “The I-Faction” addresses this problem by providing a social platform powered by Pega to bridge the gap between the Innovators and Investors and thereby increasing the pace of our technology ecosystem development higher than what it used to be in the past-normal.

How we built it

We used Pega Pulse, Pega Space, Pega Notification, and Pega Cosmos components to build this platform.

Challenges we ran into

Customizing the Pega Pulse component to implement a real-time chat component was challenging.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Learned new Pega concepts in a short amount of time and was able to successfully implement them in this application.

What's next for The I-Faction

To integrate with other social platforms like “LinkedIn” to gather a wider audience User Text analytics to identify any duplicated Ideas To the extent the chat component to have more features. To elaborate the micro journey to dive much deeper into the process.
