The Home eRehab Initiative

The purpose of this initiative is to bring activity-based therapy into the home in order to enhance feasibility and compliance. Clients would be evaluated in an outpatient center and be set up with an individualized activity-based therapy program. Initially the program will focus on upper extremity limitations secondary to neurological disorders, but could be expanded to lower extremity deficits in the future. Equipment would be loaned to the client and set up in the client's home. Technique and problem solving will be done via video teleconference weekly, with monthly outpatient visits.
