Inspiration: The declining number of bees shocked us to the core which inspired us to make a product that aids them. From 1947-2008 there was a 60% reduction rate in the overall population and it is scary to imagine a world were bees simply do not exist. We hope to help increase the bee population even if its only by a small amount.
What it does: The Garden Blaster is a seed dispersal product.
How We built it: We are using dissolvable clay and a compost ball that contains native seeds.
Challenges I ran into: What seeds should be used, how will we market the Garden Blaster, and who would be interested in buying the Garden Blaster.
What We learned: Even if this is a small step, we will continue to strive for a better overall future.
