The Happy Game

Inspiration

The Inspiration came from the youtube video called "Youtube 666" and the movie "Perfect Blue"

What it does

It's a web game that allows the player to press a button but each pressed, the site gets darker and darker.

How we built it

You will need to go to my GitHub page and download the files. Make sure to add all the files into one folder and users can modify the html or the CSS as they want.

Challenges we ran into

I had trouble to figure out how to make the background from peach pink to black. Another challenge is finding out how to display an image and fading away while another image is appearing. Adding a music in the background and refreshing the page once the song is over. The last challenging part was to find a perfect layout for the website.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The most accomplished thing was that the background was able to fade to black since at first, the screen will stay pink or the colors will make the png images disappeared.

What we learned

I learn a whole new way to make a functional website that allow to change it's own theme and colors since I only made websites with one background color and too simple.

What's next for The Happy Game

At the moment, no future plans for this project.
