On the night of All Hallows’ Eve, when the boundary between worlds weakens, a quiet village at the edge of the woods begins to feel an ancient dread stirring beneath the ground. Long ago, a curse was cast upon a forgotten graveyard, binding the dead to rise whenever the final leaf of autumn falls.

Deep in the forest, a reclusive witch lives with her loyal but sharp-tongued black cat. Though the villagers fear her, she alone understands the old magic and the danger awakening in the night. As the fog thickens and the earth cracks open, skeletal soldiers emerge, led by a towering Bone Knight — a warrior resurrected from a time of betrayal and sorrow.

The witch steps forward to hold back the undead, weaving spells of fire, frost, and starlight. But every spell she casts drains her life force, slowly pulling her toward the form of her childhood self — powerless, small, and fading. Her cat, more than he appears, fights beside her, urging her not to give everything away for those who cast her out.

Together, they stand against the rising tide of the dead, not to destroy them — for that is impossible — but to delay them until dawn, when the curse recedes once more. As the night deepens, the battle becomes not only a fight against the undead, but a test of identity, love, and sacrifice.
