Inspiration

The Japanese puzzle box, also know as the Hakone Box.

What it does

Our final project is a puzzle board called the Hakone Box. It is a puzzle game consisting of 4 levels ordered in increasing difficulty, using components like a LCD module, buttons, LEDs, photoresistors, joysticks, and a buzzer. All clues necessary to solve the puzzles are given only through the game. Our game components are mounted onto a laser cut box, where the Arduino and wires are hidden within the box. The puzzle is very successful. The user flow through all 4 puzzles are smooth, the components and puzzles worked as intended, and many students were challenged by them and seemed to enjoy our game.
