Inspiration

The ability to not worry about who sees confidential or sensitive data in the event of forgetting to lock one's phone or laptop screen. Social engineering and malicious activity reduction.

What it does

"The Guardian" workflow secures confidential data with AI-powered webcam verification. Unauthorized access triggers instant notifications via WhatsApp and Microsoft teams, empowering users to take action. The integrated GPT app provides insights and activity updates for proactive monitoring. Experience unparalleled protection and peace of mind in a connected world.

How I built it

It was built using Javascript, html, css and Pangea's APIs - Redact and Audit Logs, a couple sleepless nights and constant communication with the Pangean team

Challenges we ran into

Not much time to fully understand the domain knowledge of Pangea's services

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Very elated to have a working end to end solution!

What we learned

The importance of application security, protecting app secrets, the vital need for communication, computer vision

What's next for The Guardian

The future holds exciting possibilities for "The Guardian." Building upon its foundation of robust data protection, the app is poised to further enhance user experience and security. Continuous advancements in AI and machine learning will enable even smarter webcam verification and threat detection capabilities. Integration with emerging technologies such as blockchain may provide an additional layer of tamper-proof security. Expansion into new platforms and partnerships will broaden its reach, ensuring that "The Guardian" remains at the forefront of safeguarding confidential data, adapting to evolving threats, and empowering users with peace of mind in an increasingly digital world.
