The Grove Mental Health Hub

Based off of a previous school project. I created a UI Figma prototype for a youth mental health organization in my region. This app allows Youth to log in and sign up for events.

Inspiration

I was inspired to create a Figma prototype for youth to enable them to access and sign up for events hosted by the local mental health youth organization called The Grove. This is beneficial for those who may not have access to support workers directly.

What it does

It is a place to monitor their mental health progress as well as reach out to counsellors and sign up for group events with a click of a button. It also allows coordinators and youth ambassadors to create, edit or delete events.

How we built it

The prototype was built using Figma

Challenges we ran into

Time was definitely an issue. Initially I wanted to deploy the prototype as a mock mobile app however I didn't have time to complete it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud that I accomplished the Figma prototype.

What we learned

I learned multiple methods to use Figma and to improve the aesthetic of the prototype.

What's next for The Grove Mental Health Hub

Next steps would be to either develop a mock mobile app or expand the idea of this project into a wellness application.
