Inspiration

Our inspiration was social media. Currently lots of countries are facing corruption , and one that was close to us was Asia. We have first-hand experience with how corruption can affect cities and ultimately the country. With our inspiration being the Philippines Flood Control. Therefore we wanted to create a model that could predict and identify and forecast corruption in Asia's renewable energy sector - aswell as projects.

What it does

The model will create a "Green Ghost Index" (GGI), a risk score that predicts which future projects are most likely to become "ghosts" based on a country's risk profile and the project's financial characteristics.

How we built it

We built it using Python, as well as the help of Gemini. As we were in a time crunch, we used prompts to speed up our building process.

Challenges we ran into

Our first challenge was that our original was too vague and too open as we the data used was not suitable for the challenge; therefore, we had to restart.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

As this is our first hackathon, we are proud that we created a model with must the 2 of us. We did not know what to expect . Another accomplishment is meeting new people as it is daunting meeting new people.

What we learned

We learned how to properly structure a project , as well as learning how to efficiently use ai through the workshops given

What's next for The Green Ghost Index

Hopefully, we could use a larger data set and make it a global thing instead of focusing on one continent.
