Inspiration
The backbone of the nation are its soldiers and its food producers TheFarmers. When we heard about SOCH Hackathon we saw the problem statements and an open challenge that says to solve the present most manual intervened problem, the seed distribution, subsidy distribution and the crop insurance claim. Since it was an open challenge we were inspired to provide a solution nd payback our farmers with a solution to their problems. That's our biggest inspiration serving to the heroes with the knowledge we love. :)
What it does
Our project takes the required inputs for their seed distribution and their farming habits and work and it will predict whether the farmer gets his subsidy and insurance or not without a drag in time.
How we built it
We built it using and trying different machine learning algorithms implementing them using python and grabbing the details required using html and css,along with MySql and PHP.
Challenges we ran into
The data set gathered and created was a big challenge that consumed a lot of time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of accomplishing 83% accuracy for KNN algorithm and 100% accuracy
What we learned
We learned a lot through mentoring and how to scale the technology with a business model. And a lot more which is a priceless experience.
What's next for The Godfathers
The model to be implemeted and deployed for real time purpose.
