🧪 What We Built (The Vision)
Chaos Hacker 9000 is designed to be a local AI agent that generates commands to glitch your daily simulation. It's a metaphysical tool powered by a local LLM, intended to break you out of cognitive loops by applying the principles of hacking and quantum theory to your perception of reality.
The core idea relies on the concept that if reality is a simulation, its rules can be probed and exploited. We aimed to use the model not to answer questions, but to generate "exploits"—instructions designed to test the boundaries of the user's experiential "reality box", defined by their own cognitive and perceptual limits $\mathcal{R}$.
⚡ What Actually Happened (The Reality)
Our ambitious attempt to load the gpt-oss-20b model ran into the ultimate constraint: the second law of thermodynamics.
$$ \Delta S_{universe} \geq 0 $$
In simpler terms: Our GPU on Google Colab achieved entropy maximum and decided to simulate the heat death of the universe instead of running our model. 🤯
We fought valiantly for hours against CUDA_OUT_OF_MEMORY errors and cryptic transformers library warnings. We were this close to achieving a stable local inference server. The frontend is live and ready, the backend code is written and waiting, but our AI server is currently... contemplating the meaning of life and the nature of its own existence at a sub-quantum level.
But hey, that's hacking! The most important part—the idea and the design—is alive and well. This submission is a testament to the spirit of trying something wildly ambitious, even if the execution hits the physical limits of our current universe's computational resources.
Check out the fully working frontend simulation below! The AI's responses are currently powered by a very advanced, pre-computed pseudo-random number generator (and our boundless hopes and dreams). The vision is complete; only the matter-energy conversion for the GPU is missing.
