THE GARDEN

The short was made for Luma contest and won the first place with great Momo Wang as a judge. The subject was about love and I inspired my self after talking with my mentor about the gardens of live. It was supposed to be 4 gardens but I trust the proces even to make the scrypt. It was made all in 2 days.

Technically it was made to exploit the power of Luma using cameras, and also animation. And as a stroy was made to make an impact about Love is not only romance. Is almost en everything we do and mostly in the people and friends we love and they love us and cheers up in bad moments

Made with Luma Ray2 (now RAY 3 that is mind blowing) but anyway even for that engine the style is like a classic. I´ve choose that style not only because I love it but because I know is almost atemporal :).

Because of the time I hire a friend of mine to help me with sound design (I´m already a Sound designer and music producer) It was really difficult to nail it with the camera in specific moments but I really tried to strategize every image before the Video AI gen. The characters consistency. I really thought about that before working I´ve premade the characters descriptions with Chatgpt and then kept using the same seed I loved in Image FX. The images were a mix with IMAGEFX google and Luma images.

Momo wang was the judge and I felt that I won the oscars hahah. It was one of the happiest days of my life. Also my family cried proudly about the animation. Never imagines that.

The workflow! Always the workflow. Made it in only 2 days helped to re assure my skills and also trust the process. Even if you plan it perfectly it is 110% that you might change something from the scrypt or storyboard. Always trust the process but be sure to know your tools :)

This animation open me many doors to work with other new clients. I really want to make this a kids show thinking about my nephews and family values. Didn´t have much time since then but I can show you my last publicity with AI production with a Pixar style:
