Inspiration
We wanted to create a visually striking music video that celebrates trans empowerment without falling into cliché. The concept fuses high-end editorial fashion, surreal VFX, and underwater cinematography to tell a bold, beautiful story of confidence and self-expression.
What it does
The G.O.A.T – Greatest of All Trans follows a transgender woman gliding through a surreal Venice runway—beneath the water’s surface. The film features:
Fluid fabric matching the transgender flag palette
A mix of underwater fashion choreography and surreal transitions
Layered symbolism of transformation and identity
How we built it
This project was constructed using a combination of:
AI-driven video tools (like MiniMax, Runway, and DreamMachine)
Realistic underwater physics simulation
Custom color grading to maintain a crisp editorial tone
Music pacing synced to 120 BPM to match confident, runway-style movement
Challenges we ran into
Balancing the color palette of the trans flag without clashing with Venice’s natural aesthetic
Creating realistic underwater motion that retained a high-fashion look
Ensuring the message stayed focused on confidence and artistry, not just symbolism
Accomplishments that we're proud of
A truly original fusion of music, fashion, and identity
Powerful, stylish representation of trans pride that avoids tropes
Crafted a surreal atmosphere that feels editorial, not artificial
What we learned
You can build narrative and emotional impact without dialogue
Editorial fashion storytelling can blend beautifully with VFX when done with taste
Representation is strongest when it’s stylized, intentional, and empowering
What's next for The G.O.A.T. - Greatest of All Trans
We plan to submit the video to international fashion and LGBTQ+ film festivals
