To run, the Google Drive zip file should be downloaded and then extracted, with the Frutiger Aero.exe file being ran.

Inspiration

The nostalgic feelings and nature environment of Frutiger Aero were definitely my main source of inspiration. The bubble collection system comes from the bubble graphics seen in many Frutiger Aero images. As a kid growing up in a world once dominated by Frutiger Aero, I was inspired to make a simple game revolving around my favorite aesthetic.

What it does

It's a very simple game. You explore a large open world and collect bubbles scattered across the map. Once you collect enough bubbles, you go to the next level.

How we built it

I built it using Unity and C#, as well as a lot of YouTube tutorials.

Challenges we ran into

I definitely had a challenge keeping everything in order. The names of the game elements had to be 100% correct for my scripts to work, and I struggled to ensure that. But I figured it out in the end.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm really proud of completing an actual full game in Unity. For about 4 years, I have experimented with Unity but never had the motivation or knowledge to make a full game. Now, I finally have made one, and I'm really proud of it.

What we learned

I learned how to use scripts to manipulate game objects, allowing for a lot of features. I also furthered my knowledge about C#.
