Inspiration

I have many years of Tarot practice behind me. It's been a source of inspiration since I was 16 years old. I even published two physical decks. What I love about it is that each card is an archetype, a poem rich of symbolism and secular wisdom. This music video is turning the Fool’s mythical initiation into a visual and sonic chaos. I wanted to merge hip-hop energy, mystical storytelling, and machine dreaming into a single experience. Like the Fool, I stepped into the void with curiosity and faith, letting the algorithm become both oracle and collaborator.

What it does

The Fool’s Journey is a 02:02 minutes AI-generated music video that reimagines the 22 Major Arcana of the Tarot as an evolving hip-hop poem. Each line of the lyrics corresponds to a visual tableau created through AI image, collage and motion generation.è The result is a collision of collage, machine learning, motion design and AI magic. A fusion of text, sound, and image where myth, pop culture, and code speak the same language.

How we built it

Writing: I began with a full poem narrating the Fool’s journey through all 22 Major Arcana, structured like rap lyrics using Chat GPT. Visuals: Each verse became a visual prompt, generated through Krea AI (custom-trained model on tarot iconography + my previous collage work). Animation: Using Dreamina, Freepik (Kling AI, and HailuoAI), I transformed still images into animation sequences. Sound: The track was composed via ElevenLabs Music. I enjoy heavy paced and rapid female flow, so this is what I was looking for. It took me a while to find the right song, but when this one played for the first time, I instantly knew she was the one. Editing: Everything was reassembled and color-graded manually in Premiere for continuity and rhythm. Then I exported the edit and added effects in Capcut to add motion and visual effects. It was my first time using CapCut for desktop and it truly blew my mind to see what's possible to do with the tool. It's just great. In the process, each tool became a brush in a digital ritual, part data, part intuition.

Challenges we ran into

Voice & rhythm alignment: Making THE perfect song took me many tries. I almost got discouraged at some point. I guess, eventually, magic happened :)

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creating a collage-based music video while maintaining a surrealistic and uncanny vibe. Mostly because I've used my own collage work as a data set to train my models. Building a hip-hop track that bridges spiritual storytelling and cyber aesthetics while embracing imperfection as part of the aesthetic: weird is awesome. The biggest achievement: the song. I really really like the song.

What we learned

Capcut. Seriously. And I'm not saying this because they are partner. The intuitive take over, the INSANE amount of presets, stickers and animations is so inspiring and I can't wait to make other projects using it.

What's next for The Fool's Journey

I'd like to create a physical version of the deck. With a QR code on the box to watch the video.
