The idea for The Foodie was born during my first software development job. My coworkers and I loved going out to lunch, but we constantly wasted time deciding where to eat. That everyday problem sparked a bigger idea — what if there was a fun, social way to discover restaurants and share our food experiences? Fast forward four years, with more time on my hands, I decided to finally bring that idea to life. I built The Foodie to help people connect through food — by sharing ratings, reviews, even what they ordered — to make choosing a spot easier and more personal. Whether you're a food blogger, part of the office lunch crew, or just new in town, The Foodie helps you eat better, together.
