Inspiration

I wanted to create an epic anime battle scene

What it does

A music video following a lone warrior's journey from defeat to victory in an epic medieval battle against a cybernetic villain king.

How we built it

After generating the song in ElevenLabs, I used Claude to develop a detailed shotlist and craft precise Midjourney prompts for each frame, then animated the generated images in Vidu through OpenArt to create the final clips. Then used ElevenLabs for sound effects.

Challenges we ran into

Maintaining consistent character designs across dozens of AI-generated shots was the biggest challenge, requiring exhaustive descriptions in every single prompt.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creating a visually coherent narrative with 40+ shots that feels like professional anime production, all through AI-assisted workflows.

What we learned

Traditional filmmaking principles—shot composition, camera angles, visual storytelling—matter more than ever when directing AI tools.

Exploring full animation workflows, experimenting with longer sequences, and refining techniques for maintaining even tighter character consistency across extended narratives
