Inspiration We were tired of seeing climate headlines scroll by like background noise, disasters treated as content instead of calls to action. evolvii was born from the question: What if news didn’t just inform us, but mobilized us? We wanted to merge media, tech, and activism into one fluid ecosystem that turns awareness into measurable impact, we noticed an issue that is bigger than any other, the lack of retention and engagement .

What it does evolvii transforms real-time climate headlines into interactive action cards, each one offering users an immediate way to respond: email a lawmaker, sign a petition, donate, or join a verified local initiative. It’s not just news, it’s a living interface for collective climate action, powered by AI journalism and designed for Gen Z attention spans and aesthetics.

We built Evolvii using: AI pipelines for summarizing and reframing climate news into punchy, Gen-Z-friendly formats. Dynamic UI designed in Lovable and Next.js, integrating with ISR auto-refresh for daily content updates. Data connectors for verified action networks (emails, petitions, orgs) tied to each story. A backend that’s modular, scalable, and capable of expanding into a full climate action API.

Challenges we ran into Integrating live data sources without losing reliability. Balancing aesthetics with activism, keeping it stylish and serious. Making “action” feel as addictive as scrolling. Automating AI tone consistency across evolving story feeds.

Accomplishments that we're proud of Winning the Miami Climate Hackathon with our working prototype. Securing 3 months of free office space to scale. Creating a product that makes climate engagement feel good, not guilt-driven. Establishing a foundation for an AI-driven media studio with a real social mission.

What we learned Gen Z doesn’t lack motivation, they lack seamless entry points to act. Climate communication must be emotional, visual, and personal. Building with purpose is easier when your tech stack mirrors your philosophy: fluid, open, and always evolving.

What’s next for the Evolvii Studios project Launching evolvii & evolvii unleashed (paid premium) a edgier tier for AI-driven commentary and deeper user analytics. Partnering with climate orgs and media outlets to back the evolvii app Expanding the system to cover global SDG-related actions, starting with SDG 13: Climate Action. Fleshing out the evolvii Chat: she is a context-aware AI journalist that connects users to real-time activism opportunities.
