Inspiration
This project is an extension of YellowCare. Usually elderly caretakers find application traditional interfaces frustrating and time-consuming. To resolve this issue The Elderly Care Assistant was developed which is a simple NLP driven chatbot.
What it does
This chatbot focuses on the management aspect of the elderly caretaker. The features includes medicine stock management, doctor appointment system, medical prescription overview and many more just at one click. The Natural Language Processing set in the assistant helps the caretaker communicate the assistant with just simple English.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
The idea was selected among 12 ideas out of 50 at the Best Idea Cup 2018, Hochschule Rhein-waal, Germany. link
What's next for The Elderly Care Assistant
Improving the NLP processes and programming the whole idea.
