Inspiration

I love to play video games so I wanted my first large project to be a Video game.

What it does

It plays through the terminal as a text based game. You go through 7 floors of bosses and get armor and weapons to make it through all the floors.

How I built it

I built the entire thing myself using java on VS code.

Challenges we ran into

I ran into multiple challenges such as most of the stuff I worked with here are things I don't know. For example I didn't know what classes were or how to use them before this, same for methods and arrays. I also was not familiar with git/github which I needed to learn for this.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I am proud of that I was able to complete this project and learn new items like classes, methods, arrays, and using git, in the allowed time for the challenge.

What we learned

Same as above I am proud I was able to complete this project within the time all while learning new items such as classes, methods, arrays and git.

What's next for The dungeon

I suppose next I want to expand on the number of monsters per floor and maybe expand the inventory space. I also want to add different attacks like magic.
