Applied knowledge of automatic controls to design test flight scenarios with a quadcopter. Introduced scenarios to students pairing the controlled quadcopter movement with real-world drone footage. Wrote versions of lab manuals to be used in future Advanced Mechanical Measurements class for Mechanical Engineering Undergraduates and Graduate Students.
Semester long project. Developed test flight scenarios (MATLAB/Simulink, Differential Equations) for a 3 DOF Quadcopter. Tested scenarios and wrote lab manual instructions and write up response prompts for students and TAs. In presentation to class, connected simulation movement to real-world drone footage. Applied learning is the most fun.
