What it does

In the middle of the future Atlantic, Mark, an elderly marine archaeologist, embarks on his last expedition to find Atlantis, his lifelong dream. Ten years ago, Mark was ridiculed by academia for his hypothesis that "Atlantis has a dimensional gate connected to an alien civilization." Abandoned by his family and in despair, he discovers a broken female android, Aria, in a pile of garbage. Aria becomes Mark's research partner, identifies the location of Atlantis with her amazing analytical abilities, and together they embark on a deep-sea exploration. Finally, Mark discovers the magnificent Atlantis and the mysterious dimensional gate. Mark closes his eyes, moved by the sight. But in fact, it is revealed that everything was a beautiful illusion created by Aria for him.

How we built it

 seeks to raise profound questions about “truth, lies, and love” through the story of a scientist who has devoted his entire life to the pursuit of truth, and the artificial intelligence that strives to protect his final dream.
