Inspiration

Due to the drastic transition to an independent lifestyle, college students may quickly fall under the trap of developing unhealthy eating habits. It’s become increasingly common for students to prioritize academic or work responsibilities over health, and it’s not necessarily because they aren’t aware of the consequences.

What it does

The core features emphasize food tracking and budgeting, quick and easy recipes, extensive resources on making health-conscious decisions, and a social network of supportive members trying out new food together.

How we built it

We started with conducting user research using a survey for our target audience, college students, to fill out overnight. As we waited for responses, we analyzed online university research studies about college students' eating habits, and used this for comparison to our responses. Next, we created affinity diagrams and a user flow diagram on Miro to process the information from both the survey and research we've received. After finalizing pain points and the core features of the app, we transitioned to Balsamiq to create low-fidelity wireframes before designing our final, high-fidelity prototype on Figma.

Accomplishments we're proud of

Being able to complete a whole UX study under 36 hours!!
