Inspiration 💡

I want to make a game just like chrome Dino, but better in experience and with beautiful design and theme. This hackathon provides me the opportunity to make it possible. So I make The Dino Game for MLH PreHackStoric

What it does ❓

It's a game where The baby dinosaur have to survive the attack of the fire monster comet which landed on earth centuries ago. The score will be calculated for how much time the baby Dino was able to survive. You can try the game at :: https://thedinogameformlhprehackstoric.us/

To play the game, you can use the keyboard arrow keys.

The UP arrow key is for jump

The LEFT arrow key is for moving to the left side

The RIGHT arrow key is for moving to the right side

How we built it 🔧🔨

I used HTML, CSS and JavaScript to build this game. And hosted it on go daddy domain name.

Challenges we ran into 🏃‍♂️

The biggest challenge I face is that I have never used HTML.CSS and JavaScript for making games. I have heard that this are fundamental of web developments, but I have never used them before. So I need to learn them.

Then the next challenge I faced was how to host my website/game on internet which quite a fun ride, but finally I was able to compete it, and it was fun.

Accomplishments that we're proud of 🏆

I am proud of myself that I am able to complete this game within the time limit. I didn't know anything about making games using HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and I made this game which is pretty satisfying. And in future I would like to make more game and publish them on internet so that anyone and everyone can play them and have fun.

What we learned 🧠

I learned how to make games using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I also learned how to host my website game on the internet, which was just amazing experience.

What's next for The Dino Game for MLH PreHackStoric ⏭

I would like to add more character into the game. Then I would love to share about our project with others to gain feedback and improve
