The Data Dump

Inspiration

Our inspiration for The Data Dump drew primarily from StumbleUpon; a site that shows you random interesting websites. As we looked through the Bloomberg catalog of data, we thought about how cool it would be to just spend a day _ looking _ at all of this data. We ran with the idea from there.

What it does

The site is built off of a Node.js webserver. It serves the webpage, and handles data requests through the Amazon Web Services API to query Bloomberg's data catalog.

What's next for The-Data-Dump

TDD has lots of room to expand in terms of variety. Combining data from multiple locations and using all sorts of comparative graphs are very much in store.
