Inspiration

Our inspiration was the Construct 3 game development workshop at the hackathon, where we worked on a game where Bill Gates jumped over chairs, as well as the html workshop.

What it does

Our project is just a fun game people can play to pass the time.

How we built it

We built the actual game using Construct 3, and we built the website with HTML and CSS.

Challenges we ran into

There were plenty of times where we faced roadblocks in the Construct 3 game itself, as we had never used it before. We found it hard to make the moving platforms, the bullet and homing covids, the buttons, for example. We also had a lot of difficulty figuring out how to share the game: which is why we decided to build a website. However, even after making the website, it was incredibly difficult for us to incorporate the game in it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are very proud that we actually managed to complete the project in time, especially considering all of the challenges we faced listed above.

What's next for The Covideo Game

We would like to input scores based off of the time you took, a leaderboard, animations, and perhaps some music and sound effects.
