Inspiration

We realized the coronavirus is a prominent issue.

What it does

We wanted to make a map that shows how many cases are in each state and if it safe based on the state population and the number of cases

How I built it

We initially wanted to build it through echoAR using user input with the 3d location projections but it was not feasible with only 24 hours of time so we decided to code it into Java to show like a template of this.

Challenges I ran into

We initially wanted to build it through echoAR using user input with the 3d location projections but it was not feasible with only 24 hours of time so we decided to code it into Java to show like a template of this.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We are proud to say that this program actually works and it helps to show if the states are safe are not

What I learned

We learned and improved on teamwork skills and have learned how to code.

What's next for The Covid Response Map

More improvements and refining to where it could be a 3D tool or even an app

Importance:

We've seen several official CoVID-19 Monitoring sites by state in the united states, but never one that relates the number of cases to the population in order to find out a ratio of how many people have the virus, so that people can find out how safe it is to resume activities, since those are the top questions currently surrounding national media.
